Sunday night I visited the popular ARTbar in Sana Ana. The owner, Nicole, had attended one of my earlier classes and Suzanne McNeil, a friend from Texas, was in town for the CHA Show in Anaheim, and she taught a class in Basic Zentangling at the ARTbar. I will be teaching subsequent classes.
Nicole had started a large Zentangle mandala that she wants to display in her store. Various individuals are "tangling" different sections. Nicole gave me section 60 and to my surprise, I finished it in one day. It is aboutsix inches wide making it much bigger than a traditional Zentangle. I will be mailing it back to Nicole today.
I am also working on a Valentine piece for Children's Hospital. You can read about it at the Juxtapox web site. I am almost done with it. Of course, I will post photos of it when I am done.
Finally, my Zentangle postcards for the CZT February trade are going out today.
