•As a child, I did not like gathering eggs on the farm because the hens were mean.
• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

Zentangle Ties

I think the men on my Christmas shopping list would NOT be happy with me if I gave them Zentangle ties. But it would be fun to see their reaction when they opened up their gifts. I designed these at www.zazzle.com. I must say I have no problem entertaining myself.

4 of 4 Zentangles Completed - Finally

Even though I have a Home Economics degree, cooking is not one of my talents; however, today my taco salad was the favorite of the staff luncheon. Mother will be proud (or she won't believe me).

It is all about Zentangles at the moment as I prepare for the Silver Lake Fair. I finished last night the last of four large squares. They look good sitting side by side.

New tangles

Finished six Zentangles this morning at Urth Cafe along with a latte and an almond croissant. I am working frantically to prepare for the November 22 Silver Lake Art Fair. This time I am doing only Zentangles.

I am also planning on teaching a Zentangle class December 5 in Garden Grove. I am working on new teaching materials.

After more than three decades (gulp I am old), I caught up with an old boyfriend. Two and half hours of talking on the phone flew by. We have/had so much in common. It was great fun.

Back To Blogging

I have been ignoring my blog. Hopefully, I will get back into the swing of it. I have been doing lots of Zentagles including an ATC swap I am participating in this month. I have completed twelve "Artist Trading Cards" plus a few extra ones for future swaps. Posted here are nine of them.
