Tip. Where is Tip? Find Tip. Well, today I found him along with Mitten at the Deseret Thrift Store in Boyle Heights for 25 cents. It was one of those moments that all thrift store addicts can relate to - the big score!
The book is in good condition and was a 1957 reprint of the 1949 edition. I learned to read along with many others from the Tip series of books. Now if I could only find Dick and Jane.
I have looked and looked for Tip and Mitten! To no avail..... I remember so well learning to read from those books! Sheryl

I have a Tip and Mitten, several Dick & Jane and a Dick and Jane Big Book. I retired from teaching 9 years ago and brought home the old books in my room that nobody wanted. They are great. The best thing is that I taught in the same school that I went to as a child and the Big Book I brought home is the same one that I learned from when in first grade. How cool is that!?!
Tip and Mitten came from another school district and I don't know how I ended up with it. It's stamped "non-inventory" on the front and "discard" on the inside front.
