•As a child, I did not like gathering eggs on the farm because the hens were mean.
• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

Neighbor Suzy and I went on an outing today. First we stopped at the hardware store where I was able to get some copper "ears and hands" for Computer Dada (see previous posting). He got to ride around on a flat cart while we were looking.

Next we stopped at the "World's Largest Garage Sale" which is around the corner from us. The first thing I spotted was a huge pile of doll parts (see photo, courtesy of Suzy). I tried to ignore them - even made it all the way to the back of the building. Well, you know the rest of the story. They are now living with me. Computer Dada is so smitten with himself, he hasn't even noticed all the legs, arms and torsos surrounding him. Men!
