•As a child, I did not like gathering eggs on the farm because the hens were mean.
• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

As some of you know, someday I want to go to Paris and shop flea markets. In the meantime, I visited one of my favorite blogs, Agence Eureka, a French blog full of the most wonderful French ephemera. I love this particular paper doll.

My sunglasses joined the Eternal Chapter of Broken, Scratched and Lost Eyewear a few days ago. I stopped at the drug store to pick up a new pair and today that pair has already broken. I usually buy drug store sunglasses because they are cheaper, but suddenly the price has doubled. And drug store cosmetics and facial products are now ridiculously high. What is the next step down - swap meet products?

Do not come and take me way when I tell you Scully, my deceased cat, made a visit in the middle of the night last week. I swear, I woke up and saw the image of Scully on the back of JJ's head (who was sleeping next to me). I kept blinking my eyes and she was still there. Good news is she didn't talk (I mean meow), or I would have freaked out. And no, I have not been watching too many episodes of Ghost Whisperer.
