•As a child, I did not like gathering eggs on the farm because the hens were mean.
• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

I signed up for a Swap-Bot vintage ATC exchange and the deadline is quickly approaching. Since I haven't made one in awhile, I believe I have lost my touch, but I still had fun with this.

Even though I am lucky to have an office with windows, I seldom have the shades opened because of the computer glare. Today it is overcast and trying to rain. So I opened the shades and realized I have an amazing view.

I can see all of the Westwood skyscrapers with the mountains in the background and quite a few of the buildings in Century City with the MGM being the closest. Also, to the far left is the Mormon temple where I use to spend a lot of time looking at micro-film searching for ancestors in their genealogy library.

Looking forward to the long three day holiday. It is going to be nothing but "make art all weekend."
