• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

Back to making vintage collages. It has been awhile and took me a bit of time to figure out what I wanted to do. If you can't tell, the lady is in a boat floating down a river.

Read a blog yesterday about rescuing Chinese pets after the earthquake. Some very heart-warming stories, but also some very sad stories. I won't share the site with you because it is more sad than happy.

After reading the blog, I was enjoying even more my time on the couch with Mabel and JJ last night. All three of us were stretched out in ridiculous positions - me drawing and them sleeping.

Cucuy and Jose were suppose to go to Guatemala today for a dedication of some houses we built after Hurricane Stan. It was confirmed with the President's office. Mercedes happened to call the Mayor of the village where the houses are located and learned that the dedication was yesterday. Ops! Someone screwed up big time.
