• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

Renan is definitely back. Things at the radio station are as crazy as ever. I have so many balls in the air that at least one is going to fall and hit me on the head. From UFO sightings, to saving the planet, to rallying for immigration reform (again), to celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday, to building homes in Mexico, to helping a 1,000 man, to a blood drive, to all the attorneys and accountants I have to deal with - they are all on my plate. Each an every one of these are not plain and simple. There is a strange and odd twist with each project.

Jose asked me if I could start coming in at 5:00 a.m. I just laughed and told him he didn't want to see me that early. Jose needs me badly so I don't think he will push the subject.

Tonight we are hosting dinner at Shin Peking for two doctors from the Climate Institute in Washington D.C. They are going to talk about the new high altitude observatory in Mexico that they want us to build. The presentation will be in Spanish so I plan to take my sketch book and doodle in the back of the room.
