Time to put myself into high speed. Always a lot to do - now with the holidays, there is even more to do.
Mother was here for a week, and we did some serious puttering around Los Angeles. Despite the anticipated shopping crowds, we forged out and added a few dollars to the holiday spending season. We also took in two movies, For Your Consideration and Happy Feet. The first was a quirky fun movie and the second was a great animated film with a good message.
We spent Thanksgiving Day eating a pricey, but delicious meal at the Biltmore Hotel and then visited Jackie and her family on the Westside.
Mother and the cats watched me over the weekend once again move furniture around. Actually, it is still the same plan, but more things needed to be moved. At the moment, I have a big pile of art things in the middle of the loft. When "Team Raile" (Tim, Robyn and Jessica) arrive tomorrow, I hope they will do their magic and make it all look fantastic and organized. I also hope they will help me pick out a new sofa. I am having the hardest time figuring out what color to get.
