Red Doors

Red_doors_posterTook in the movie Red Doors this weekend.  My choice was based on its convenience (Laemmle downtown LA and only 5 minutes away), easy parking and I had one free ticket left from a friend's Christmas gift.  Yahoo Movie Reviews gave it a B, so I decided it would be worth the effort.

When I got to the theater, there were only four other people and I was afraid the movie would be a stinker.  Fortunately, I was wrong.  Watching the story of the dysfunctional Wong family was much more enjoyable than watching Little Miss Sunshine.  My favorite scenes were about the bizarre teen-courtship ritual and the newly retired father coming apart after retirement.
