•As a child, I did not like gathering eggs on the farm because the hens were mean.
• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

I have been laughing to myself ever since I got a call from my friend Cherry who told me that the purse I made and donated to a charity silent auction sold for $275. Perhaps I should get out the knitting needles again. When they were selling at Fred Segals for $170 I was amazed. I wish I had a picture to post here. I will try to find one later and add it. The design was so simple. I just knitted (no purl stitches) a rectangle of three different yarns, added a bamboo handle and lined it. If other things could be so simple (and profitable).

I added a photo album of my Bad Bear drawings I did years ago. I ran across them and they made me smile.

I got some good photos of the kitties over the weekend and added a few shots to the photo album. Here is one of Mabel. She has such attitude.
