Unimportant Things About Me

•As a child, I did not like gathering eggs on the farm because the hens were mean.
• I played the Doris Day part in “Pillow Talk” in a high school play.
• I played defensive line woman on my girl’s football team in high school - real football, not powder puff.
• I ate dinner at a restaurant next to Vice President Bush’s table in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by secret service agents.
• I played the French horn and the cymbals in my high school band – horribly.
• I was the Sports Editor of my high school paper.
• When I moved to California, I lived in Malibu. I now live near Skid Row.
• I did not finish kindergarten.

Another Year Older

I have some of the best friends! Two of them took me out for Sunday brunch to celebrate my birthday. Most of us at our age just wish birthdays would slip by unnoticed. But I was happy to spend a few hours with Jackie and Jane at Le Marmiton in Marina del Rey. The food and weather were perfect. We sat outside, and I got to open some wonderful gifts.

Most of my weekend was spent playing at the loft. I am working on several projects (as usual) and will save the photos for later in the week.

My main project right now is the PEO Recipe Book I am making for the Holiday Auction November 4. I am so excited about it, but I can't post any pictures until is it completely done. It is not your typical cookbook.
